Fly through the stars! You just take the right direction: left or right. How many stars can you pass?
The beginning of the game is very simple and relaxing. However, can you beat the levels after 20?
+ beautiful stars
+ ambient music
+ infinite game play
+ adaptive increasing of the speed
+ no ads

The idea is pretty cool, the graphics ambient (not sure about the music though, it's got a rather sharp tone to it) but the controls are somewhat odd. Took a while before I realized I was actually supposed to fly through the stars instead of avoiding them, heh, but maybe that's just me... would be cool with controls that let you actually aim for stars rather than just hold left or right to go the right way too, and I realize the left and right arrows are probably there for touch screen devices (?) but it'd look a lot more visually appealing if they weren't so big, or maybe invisible? It was fun though. Nice work!

This is such a cool and calming experience.
I really like the atmosphere you've created here.
The simple and easy to grasp controls / concept make this a pleasure to dive into, and it's easy to get lost in the field of stars coming towards the screen.
There's quite a bit of potential that you could do with a game like this.
Like perhaps you could have different pathways that the player could take to earn more points or ramp up the difficulty depending on which turn they take.
Or maybe add an up / down direction with different obstacles etc.
Also, i wish there were more going on in the audio department.
It's a cool synth track, but a bit more progression and variety couldn't hurt.
Other than that, keep up the good work!

I have a feeling that none of sprites, music, and other things that were used in this game were legitimately created by the owner. As soon as I started playing Happy Dream, instantly did I notice the sound effects that were stolen from Flappy Bird.

"The beginning of the game is very simple and relaxing."
Correction: The beginning of the game is extremely maddening and agitating.

I had a couple of friends that played the game, and were utterly confused on what to do and what objectives had to be completed.

Improvements can be done to the game to make it more appealing and playable.

1. Improve your score system.
Instead of getting 80-200 points per star, only give the player 1 point per star.

2. Make the game more challenging.
Once you play the game a certain amount, you'll start to notice that it becomes incredibly easy. (You only need to hold down the right arrow key for a certain time, release, and press the left arrow key.) To make it more difficult, re-arrange the stars to places that might be harder to get through.

3. Don't use arrow keys.
Arrow keys are disorienting for PC Gamers and can even ruin your game. Instead, use something like the mouse or the W A S D keys.

4. Make your game original.
There are tons of games out there that are related to this one. The thing that bothers me the most, is how you stole a sound effect from an enormously popular game, Flappy Bird. I'm not even sure if the music was made by you. If you're going to use something that was used in something else, at least give credit to them. Don't be like, "Oh hey, guys! I made this soundtrack."

5. Make the background more attracting.
By this, you should make it so that as the player goes through the stars, the background moves along with the player. Instead of the background being fixed, be more creative!

You could use improvements to Happy Dream. Remember, make sure everything you make is original, unless if you have permission from the owner.

HappyIndie responds:

The music was created by me in fl studio (yes I use Sylenth VST).
Another my track: (it will be a virus video. May be... :)
I use in this game (Attention! It's very hard!)

Sprites were created in photoshop using simple gaussian blur. Their color changes by code in real time as you can see.
You are right, "coin" effect is very similar to Flappy Bird sound.
Initially I wanted to create Flappy Bird clone, but then I had a dream...
There was no flaps, no birds and no pain. Just beautiful stars and relaxing flight :)

After several minutes of playing you are on the level when it is very fast to be easy.
Each star gets challenging at a levels above 20. Try it! You will receive a great reward for each star!

Some of my friends found that it is very difficult to start playing.
Do you have any ideas for improving the tutorial?

Anyway, thank you for detailed review! =^_^=
