Welcome to DotLock.

You are given the task to lock (finish) 100 boards filled with dots, impassable dots, keys and locks. You draw horizontal or vertical (no diagonal allowed) lines between 2 adjacent dots, thus connecting as many dots as you can without intersecting the lines. If you connect enough dots (shown on the ending yellow square) AND enter that square you will finish the level. However you get only 1 star. To get 2 stars you must connect even more dots, and to get 3 stars you must connect ALL dots.

On most levels you will encounter red, green or blue keys associated with RGB locks, and a special magenta lock, which is unlocked only if you have no key on you. You can have only 3 any keys on you at a specified time.

The game is controlled by your mouse. In addition you can move with WSAD or arrows keys, and restart with R key.

I hope you enjoy playing the game as much as I enjoyed learning Stencyl and making it ;)

Version 1.1:
- corrected some performance issues.
- corrected the next button; now one can't repeatedly pressed it to skip levels.
- corrected the finished percent; now you can't go over 100% and you can get the "New management" medal (just replay and finish one level).
- removed the pause button, as it was useless.
- separate buttons for music/sounds.
- minor graphics changes.

Awesome game! I needed a good, big puzzle game that I could chip away at whenever I'm bored.

As an addendum to the previous review, I'd like to point out that the game adds 0.3333% for every star you get, but if you don't get all three on your first go and you go back and redo it, you get 0.3333% for each star you get each time. So if you get 1 star on your first go and then three on your second, the level will count for 1.3333%. Knowing this, you can ensure you get the exact number of stars to get 100% at some point, however your final percentage will always be above 100%.

Other than that (and the absence of an undo button), a really solid game! :)

Nice game. It has a few bugs though.

It is possible to finish a stage with 0 stars. This means you can go to the next stage but the stage doesn't count as completed from the stage selection screen. It was actually quite funny to beat the game and then look at the stage select screen and have half the stages locked because I had 0 stars in the stage before those.

Another bug is that the game completion percentage isn't working properly. It seems like it just adds one percent every time I get a new star in a stage. I have the game completed 143. % now.

The last bug I noticed is that after finally 3-starring every stage in the game I didn't get the New Management medal.

Other than that I agree that an undo button is certainly missing.
Still a nice game though.

I am aware of the first bug. If you press the next button multiple times you can skip stages :(
About your second bug the game adds 1/3 for every star. Normally if you don't use bug 1 you should get 100% completion. As for bug 3 it verifies if percent is 100%. If you use bug 1 you can't get 100% because of bug 2 :(
I will upload the corrected version. And with an undo function :)

I can't seem to get it to work on my computer. It simply won't load, just leaving me with a black screen and the music (which is still pretty good by the way). Does it work better in one browser compared to another?

Interesting concept, but gets repetitive after a while. It definitely needs more pizzazz; something to bring interest back after every 10 levels or so.
