How come I can brute-force the 4-digit code when I only have 3 digits, but I have to actually PICK UP the clue for the coloured hearts puzzle and actually have it in my inventory for the thing to actually unlock??? The time puzzle made no sense, with the clock showing 5:54 or 5:55, and that was nowhere near the answer... At least you have a walkthrough to explain the bat-shit insane logic, though.
Some more detailed drawings would be nice, since I have no idea what the hell some of these items are that I pick up (a black stick, great...), or what to use them on. It would also be nice if the combo-lock for the door actually showed on the room-view...
Well this was a different kind of escape game... not as creepy as they usually are! Was a bit perplexed at first by how to move back once I've zoomed in on object, maybe make that a bit more apparent? The bar at the bottom only appears when hovered over; doesn't feel like most intuitive thing... though that might just be me. Music loop also gets a bit annoying after a whole, very short and repetitive; not very relaxing, but it's a good game overall. Keep it up!
Overall the graphics were okay, but some of the items were hardly recognizable. E.g. I didn't realize that the purple thing was supposed to be a spray (I had to use the video walkthrough). A good workaround to avoid such problems would be to offer the player a command to get more details on all of the collected items (e.g. provide an enlarged display or a description of an item by double clicking or hoovering over it).
It was good that you used letters for the color heart puzzle solution as the red and orange were difficult to distinguish.
Why is it possible to move some of the items in the inventory over another without actually combining them? E.g. the purple spray on the lower left side could be moved over the yellow thing (was it a glue pen?) more about in the middle of the lower bar.
The animated logo and the animated frog are terribly annoying as they distract from the actual gameplay. I ended up pulling another window over the toolbar, as it didn't allow me to concentrate on solving the puzzles.
The elevator music was okay at the beginning but I was happy to have the option to turn it off after a while :-)
Story line needs more development. More than one way to solve this would be greatly appreciated. This is just lacking in detail.
