Decent enough mechanics but there's no point. This is the sort of game anyone can make.

There really wasn't no story at all to this game. I mean you started with something, that being stranded at an asylum after running out of gas. But for some reason you abandoned the whole idea halfway through. What the fuck? I don't know if you guy stomped on where to take it, you got lazy or what. Just poor effort on your part.

There was an old NES point and click game called Uninvited, about your car crashing and your now missing sister inside a honest-to-goodness haunted mansion. That kind of idea is what people were hoping for, I think. The setting, the music, it calls for a more creepy game. The lack of a scare, and mundane items, dissolve the eerie elements you present.

But what is here is playable, if muddled in presentation.

I played it all the way though.
What I liked: The music. However it needs more variety instead of the same track repeating. I liked the graphics and style mixed with the one music track it did have.
What I would have liked to see:
Again, the one single music track gets repetitive.
What would be good is if the objects tied to some importance to the storyline that flashed between levels.
As stated before, there should be things that scare the player. Weather that be subtle apparitions in the windows, occasional screamer up close or something scary happening which is activated by picking up object(s) so that the player feels scared to even pick up the objects.
I like it a lot as a start but please make it scarier. You made nice looking maps that matched the feel of the music. Expand the music selection and exploit those scarey environments.

I expected some sort of point-and-click adventure/survival horror game judging by the title and description, but instead I got a boring scavenger hunt game with some half-baked horror story thrown in as a hook to keep the player interested. It would have been awesome if there was some story-related significance to the items the player collects, and maybe as the game progressed different visual mindf*cks would pop in and out to scare the player, perhaps as a way of punishing them for taking too long to find items.

Also, for the amount of time given, the music is WAY too repetitive. The fact that you can only mute it on the title screen only makes matters worse.
