you should explain the story a little longer and make the game a little longer but it is an awesome concept ( please make an next one in wich the hero tries to find out his past )

Interesting game! Way too short :(

I can't help but think that the computer is cheating in the sense it feels more like you're playing against an AI who knows the whole board and is making mistake on purpose to give you a chance than a real opponent.

Ok, I replayed the game and I know why I had this impression : the computer doesn't seem to take into account previous moves we made. More often than not, if I return a non-matching pair, card A card B for instance, and it returns another card A, it won't match it with the first A I returned, but third one, which was never shown prior. It's one type of strange behavior amongst others which let me think the AI simple doesn't care about what as been shown.

If I have to bet on the algorithm, I would say it probably goes like "random number between 0 and X, if RandNum < Y, then reveal two matching cards, else reveal two non-matching card". Maybe a little more complex. I'm pretty sure it has no memory of previous moves.

I can understand why coding the game like that, it's easier and doesn't make the AI too strong, but it gives a strange feeling to the player.

I loved it!!! it could use a second installment to finish the story better. it was a little unclear what happened so I will take off half a point.
