Such a great "Run for your Life" game and with the little refrence at the end of the customs im very happy with my link ht :)
This brings back so many memories, i remember the first game, But i must admit it gets kind of old, but, good job ol' chum!
Looks like the apocalypse is near, dust in the air, tearing up our sphere. This was a fun game, and a great promotion for the kickstarter campaign at the same time, I'll definitely check that out! Though $175k... woah, that's a pretty intense goal. Dead Meat barely made 50k, even with a rather famous author and some amazing pledge perks in the pot. Good luck though!
Ahhh yes I loved the original and I was thrilled to see this! A pity my old dino seems to be gone, but this provided plenty of DNA to rebuild a maxxed one in no time! Lots of fun stuff in this one - really liked the ptero-surfing level! It was actually a bit easy, but that may be due to the hours and hours I spent on the original. I still didn't quite make it through the last level with my timeshifts the first playthrough from a weak dino.
The music is pretty fun and while I miss the old hardcore track from near the end of the first one the ones in this were nice, if a bit quiet at times. The first track from the original is still my favorite though, and is the song I think relate to this game.
I also accidentally ran headfirst into the magma egg thanks to an epic volcano leap that ended when a flaming boulder slammed me down into the crater, earning me 1st place on the all time high scores! I'm sure that won't last, but it's fun to know I had the spot for a while as much as I enjoy this game.
I did run into an odd glitch that finished me off once though. On the last level at one point my dino simply crouched and refused to move hardly at all any more, and I couldn't do anything to break it out of whatever was making it do that. The tiny jumps and snail pace movement were the end of me. It only happened once though, so it's probably not really a problem.
Keep up the good work and good luck on the sequel!
