You come back from school after a long day. Finally some spare time to relax, but... Something unexpected happens.

This is my first serious game , I hope you like it!

Just in case something's not clear enough I'm gonna give you some instructions here in the description:
-Move with "WASD" KEYS or "ARROWKEYS".
-Use the "I" KEY or click "INVENTORY" to display the Inventory Menu and select an item with the mouse to use or equip it.
-Interact with the "E" KEY.

Hey! if you get stuck, check out the walktrough. you'll find it in the pause menu.

PS: This game has 4 different achievable endings, just want to point that out :D

-Fixed some graphic errors.
-Fixed the location of the first checkpoint.
-Fixed some weird bug (maybe) which caused teleporting from the bathroom to the parents room.

NOTE: If you played the game previously, delete the cache to see the updates.

Sorry i can't answer all of your comments, even tho i read them all, i don't have a lot of spare time, but i am indeed working on all of your bug reports.

First of all, great game! I didn’t expect it to be as good as it was. Here’s my playthrough, in case anyone was interested and it includes all the endings: <>

While I thought the game was amazing, I still had some issues. One was the scarce check points. It got pretty old having to replay some of the sections. Especially since you can’t skip any of the cutscenes. It was really annoying for some sections where it wasn’t really clear what you were supposed to do.

There were also a few glitches. I went into the restroom to get the batteries, and I randomly spawned in the parents’ bedroom, and got one of the endings. Apparently that was a thing that used to happen, but you thought you fixed it. I guess it still happens occasionally. I didn’t have a lot going on or any other tabs open, so I don’t know what would be causing it, but I thought I would let you know. Besides, I was really frustrating to have to start the game over AGAIN.

The controls were OK, but occasionally not very responsive. There were also random lag-spikes that would mess me up. Nothing too bad, just kinda annoying. Also, there were some moments when the doors would not respond at first, forcing the player to mash the interaction button anytime you needed to get through a door. Sure, it might have added to the atmosphere, but dang it got old.

The absolute biggest problem with the game was how the endings worked. It was a huge waste of time to be forced to play the game all the way through multiple times just to get each ending. The worst part is that it is so easy to fix. There are multiple ways it could have been avoided. Include a save feature and let the player load, load back from last check point when someone restarts the game, or include some kind of password mechanic. There are so many ways it could have been solved.

Seriously, I absolutely loved your game, but playing through the entire freaking game multiple times, WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO SKIP CUTSCENES, just to see the other endings…It kinda ruined the game for me. By the time I finished, I was thoroughly sick of the game. Not trying to be rude, but forced repetition does not endear anyone to the game. Up until that part, I thought the game was great. I know this game is old, so you aren’t likely to see this or to respond and try to update the game, but I just wanted to put this out there in case anyone is making a game and can learn from this. Do NOT waste the gamer’s time. It is the chief sin of developers and it instantly makes the game annoying.

All of that said, I really thought this game was great. There were so many things done right. The atmosphere was perfect and left me stressed out and scared. The sounds were good and helped immerse me in the game. It definitely succeeded in making me scared. More so than some of the 3D horror games. I really appreciate the work that was put into this game, and I look forward to anything else you might create. Thank you :)

I don't normally answer long comments because english is not my main language, I let pass a really good review some time ago and I can’t let pass another one, but I'm going to try to be brief, sorry for bad English xD (some of this is google translator) .

I really agree with all are you saying, when I was making the game I thought that the game need to be punishing when you die, but I know, that was not only punishing that was frustrating xD ... Now talking about the glitches , well.. I tried several times to fix them, but there are some that I can't fix : / I mean, there is no code related with that bathroom and the parents rooms, I don’t know what was happening there -_- and finally yes I wanted to put load feature but in that time I didn't have the experience to do it, I was just starting in this world xD, and now I have some ideas of how to do it.. but because I'm in other project right now I think is going to be later than sooner. Anyway thanks for this review and the playthrough :)

I never thought that this game would've been so suspenseful but it was. Got my heart racing. Man that killer is fast! One bug though, went to the basement and couldn't pick the ladder up then my character got killed after the screen went black.
