I love the game limbo, more then any other game ive ever played and i think this game is great so far, needs some minor changes but has amazing potential to be something huge

This is actually a really nice start. The graphics are great, the game itself is just as good as it needs to be, and there's not really anything wrong with it that I can point out. I will say, it would be cool if you added enemies and a way to attack them (Maybe shooting a little wispy flame from the lantern?), but that's not paramount and I can understand if you just want to keep it a platformer.

limbo ripoff

Ok this is interesting. I like the concept, the graphics are nice, very limbo ish but i am guessing that was your inspiration. Games like this need sound. Also your wall collision needs a little work. The game as it is, is not that great, but I am eager to see this game in its finished state.
