NONSENSE! After an unfortunate incident, Socrates Jones must debate a host of philosophers in order to win back his life. More than slightly inspired by the Ace Attorney series.

Authors note: This is for real this time, by the actual creators! The person who was pretending to be us didn't even upload the most recent version. That's just lazy game theft, that is.

Great gameplay, good graphics, and overall a fun game right up until Euthyphro.

And then it gets ruined by the player not having on option to make the relevant counterargument that Euthyphro's argument only applies if it can be proved that there are deities and we know what they agree upon, which it can't.

So, minus two stars for not having an option to point out a clear flaw in an argument.

I heard about this awhile ago through the IndieGames twitter account and thought I'll check this out but I never got the chance and now with it on Newgrounds I must check it out! This has a very Phoenix Wright feel going on in my opinion which is a pretty good thing. This starts off really slow and I'm getting the feeling it plays really slow. The music is pretty good but it needs to be more exciting when asking questions like in Phoenix Wright. I'm really tired of the amount of presentations from Billy here. I can't stand to play through this. It is wait to text heavy and slow with boring music. The first 30 minutes is really boring so my review is only based off of the first slow ass 30 minutes.

the points the protagonist makes don't fit quite with the prompts for those points so I frequently had to guess and use the process of elimination to figure out how to have him make that point.

I never found out if this was a good game or not. The dialogue almost put me to sleep. These overwhelmingly long dialogues are just not my speed. I need action and quick release. But im not saying its a bad game....just not my speed ;-0

What? Now do not take offense in this I can understand you devoted a fair amount of time on this and I can see that but I have to review it as a flash game and that is what I have to do.

Gameplay: I can take it as an adventure game but the point is obscure. In the long run all you have to do is spam the 3 questions on each sentence and then try the arguments you will collect in each sentence again. Even if you lose you will eventually win and there are no medals or achievements to make you do anything but the above.

Story: Humorous and nice, the characters are easy to sympathize with and I would want to give more stars just because of them.

Personal Note: Philosophy. By making this you and everyone who plays it supposedly knows the meaning of all these arguments? Now I can't blabber on about what is right or wrong but making everything as pictured in the game so steadfast ruins the immersion feeling. Some others would see it as you presenting a wiser-than-thoy flash developer trying to "enlighten" us stupid internet babies which is not the case but is what the message that goes across is in the end.

I honestly do not know how this should be called a game maybe call it an app or something but it definitely isn't a game.
