Don't Mess with Thwomps

This was the very first animation I finished and was like "an actual video...not long, but a video!" Very pleased with myself, feel free to be critical, only way to progress is through critisism, and advice :D

Not bad for your first time. Be proud. Keep up the good work.

ArtisticNinja responds:

Thank you :D I'll probably in future redo this to see the progression of my animations :D

First animation? Good job, my dear! I guess there's not much to say, it is a very small video, but nevertheless is very direct and focus the subject.

...

Honestly, I do not have much to say by the size of the term, however, keep up the good work.

ArtisticNinja responds:

Thank you, I am working on longer prjects with speech and god damn is it more difficult then I thought it'd be :D but it's worth it, I only started animation so college wouldn't complain about it :D but now I love it and have spent countless hours in it XD

ohthat was NICE! bit fast, but i understand Why it was Fast. Contextually.

haha. yes. the Thwomps are EVIL.

ArtisticNinja responds:

Thwomps are indeed evil, I had fun doing this, I learnt about Vcams in this for the camera and I had a lot of problems going through this animation, every now and then I went back to it during the day and just changed bits, the amount of sprites I over ripped just to make this was obscene, I probably ripped 100+ useles sprites I was never going to use XD *sigh* This stuff is hard XD

In terms of sprite videos, this was pretty well made, and very good for a first animation in general. The only minor thing is that the composition made it a bit hard to follow the action at times. Otherwise, nice job.

ArtisticNinja responds:

Thanks :D I do try and look into the panning of the camera and I'm looking into how I can make it do everything smoother without the massive change of angle, also I need to develop a nice way of transitions between different characters which I haven't quite developed yet
