NEONBALL is a puzzle-arcade game that takes you to the near future, where energy resources are rare, and the only place humanity can find energy and avoid living in the darkness - is in the glorious NEONCITY.
It was decided that no man can use energy without proving his worth, for there is no power that can be handled without care.

For that - a test was invented by the E.N.R - Energy National Resources. That test, was NEONBALL.

Only by completing NEONBALL you will be granted access to NEONCITY.

Check out our Facebbok page, we upload some cool stuff there and we would love you to be a part of our community:

Feel free to record yourself getting SMASHED by Neonball, and send it over so we can share it!

Our dear programmer Ori is on vacation until the end of the month, so updates will start will start coming from that time forward.(Expect quality control for slower computers, some fixes regrading RAM, boss bug fixes and more...).

Stay tuned - great stuff coming!

Man this is pretty good game the level designs were awesome easy but challenging if you want to get that perfect score. I also found myself just pausing the game and listening to this groovy music. Totally earned my 5. Also recommending this to friends. Keep up the good work.

A great game! Challenging, yet not discouraging. The difficulty is well balanced. This is a game of learning, and I was suprised to see how I grew my skills when I got back to the first levels. The futuristic, colorfull ambiance adds a lot to the quality.

Unfortunately, there are several issues that hindered my gaming experience. I run a low config PC, and I would like to have a "Quality" settings. It's nearly impossible to get the right timing when your PC starts lagging at the middle of a jump. Also, for some reasons, my progressions is not saved sometimes, and last time I've had to beat levels 22 to 27 again, with stars and time trials. Very frustrating.

Fix these problems and the game will be perfect!

I really like the game. I was surprised about the variety you can create by allowing only 2 directions to move. Sometimes I hoped for some checkpoints in the stages, especially in the longer stages at the end when you go for the stars but it was possible to figure out a good route after some time. Thanks for resetting the stages after a death. that you can always take the same timings, made it a bit easier for me. Even when the stages feature new challenges, it is a bit to long and got some kind of frustrating at the end, but only when you go for the stars. I don't know if you need them to finish the game, because I collected them directly for the medals. So, in the case they are just another challenge, it is fine.

I am a bit two-minded about the boss. When you know how to beat him, he is very easy. But when you are still in practice, to try to beat him, you have absolutely no clue how to solve the last two phases of him (especially the 4 lasers) and then you need to go through the whole boring start again. Took me about 2 hours because I messed around in the first 2 stages of this fight and died again and again. I would prefer more randomness in a boss fight, but one phase less, at least in a kind of a puzzle game like it is. But I can see the point to remove randomness completely.

I did not understand the time trials. Some where incredibly close to the best possible time, some give you up to 7 or 8 seconds space or maybe more, even in the last ten stages. Overall they are all very easy, far to easy for me.

I like the audio and graphics. Controls work fine. I did not know that you can use the arrow keys and tried it a long time with the mouse only. I missed some instructions somewhere. No lagg in the game. Short story, you can start directly in the game without reading 10 minutes. Thanks for that entry and adding medals, there is enough crap there, so we need good games for the list.

But it is not about me, you have to balance the game for a lot of different people. And it is a nice middle way. Open for everyone, I can see no real flaw in the game.
