This is gonna be my last animation until next year!
Since I rushed and quited R1665's collab, I'm gonna do the best animation of the year and win a trophy!
Im actually surprised how good this was, the movie didn't make any sense, but it was enjoyable! Here you go, 4.5 stars!
Oh, the memories of gruesome old Mortal Kombat III. The classically hilarious Reptile fatality in which he ate a person whole, yet somehow managed to refrain from eating their nice shiny boots in the process.
This was a fun little animation that I had the pleasure of viewing. I'm all ears and eyes when it comes to scenes relating to thrilling childhood classics such as MK. The sprites were well-animated and the addition of the impact 'blasts' were well implemented into the animation as well. Top marks for that.
The movie is rather bland, however, in terms of background art and activity. I would suggest adding something a little more exciting as opposed to a standard green gradient. Some art from the original, such as the subway station level or the 'Outworld' levels, would be great to have. The floating shades in some of Mortal Kombat's levels are really interesting to see and help to contribute to the activity during the scene of the fight.
The title screen is also quite dull. The black-grey gradient could definitely use some work in terms of being replaced with something a little more eye-catching.
Lastly I consider the 'Ready' button's arcade audio sound effect quite responsive, but the button's font could be altered from its current standard form. I don't know about you, but it's also a little hard to click: the font is too fine and thin and I have to position my cursor so that it hovers exactly over the white sections of the text. Just a tiny usability issue, y'know?
Overall the animation quality of the sprites is great, and apart from the fact that you could have improved its aesthetics a little, this was fun to watch. Well done.
Thanks, man im glad you liked it and me too i had a lots of problems clicking the ready button, and im not gonna lie, i rushed through the animation.
its not that its a bad video, it could've been longer and had way more potential but you did what you could.
thats cause i rushed thats why but the next animation its gonna be longer!
It's alright, short well animated and I'd say it would be nice to see more of this.
im working on a long fight soon!
Whoah! Nice memories i got in mind seeing this!
