Cyan is a miner in search of gems.

While not being a fighter, any dangers need to be avoided.

Use the arrow keys to move the selector and move in that direction.
If blocked, the space bar will dig through the dirt, but not stone.

This is my second AS3 game and there could be better art added to improve.

Reminds me of Utopian Mining. A story would be nice. I'll be waiting for your third game. :)

It's OK. It gets boring pretty quick, but it does have a lot of potential. Could be made into a sort of simplified "mini-Minecraft"

A bit buggy. after collecting 3 gems I couldn't move to the tiles after they had been dug. Invisible rocks. :) But otherwise, I like these style of games.. a story behind it would be nice, maybe some music, obviously the graphics could use some details. But you have a good starting point to a game. I hope that you fine tune and resubmit it.

People fail to understand the concept that if a game is not good, it should not be released. Just because you created something doesn't mean you should go showing it around to everybody. Make sure you get experienced enough as a game writer to produce a game that you'd show proudly to anyone.

First off, all the art in this game is absolutely horrid. If it took you more than a minute to create all the art, I'd be shocked. All this art can easily be created in MS Paint in a matter of seconds. You even failed with the menu screens. The GAME OVER screen is clearly offset too far to the right, meaning you can actually see the game background to the left. Take a look at any game, and you'll see that having solid fill blocks is not the way to go. At least put in a little bit of effort. Also, might want to get your art knowledge straight, red does not go with green at all.

Secondly, what's with the sound effects? What am I hearing? It sounds like someone made a little noise into a microphone for the death noise, and the sound of the skeleton just sounds like someone crunching chips. Sound effects aren't that hard. Just look up a program for it. I can't play a game if all I hear are very poorly made sound effects. There's also no music, which is actually probably for the best seeing as nothing else is good about the game.

Finally, the game play doesn't work. Whenever you see a skeleton at the deeper levels, they often just disappear entirely, but still exist. So essentially, each time you enter the tile where the skeleton disappeared, you lose. Which is a huge deal, and means that this game is broken.

Basically, you gave me a really bad, broken game. This isn't bad for an amateur game writer, but DO NOT RELEASE A GAME ONTO THE GAME PORTAL IF THE GAME IS BAD AND BROKEN. There's no need to rush yourself into releasing games. You failed in every possible aspect, so there is no excuse for you to be throwing your game into the public unless you specifically wanted your game to be butchered.
