Aim cannon, and shoot
This game has a nice concept. However, there were just a lot of things that I did not really enjoy. First of all, it doesn't feel like I'm fighting. Sure, we're shooting stuff at each other, but all I mostly see is a bunch of stuff lighting on fire from tank rounds (Which doesn't really make any sense) and an occasional building/tank getting leveled. It feels like the tank round should have any explosion or some other effect rather than setting stuff on fire. I like the music that was put into this submission. It fits well for the game. Also, as others have mentioned, the aiming could be improved. I vastly prefer the controls of other tank games, where the player can both control angle and power. I feel less like I'm precisely aiming at something and more like I'm just shooting a too-predictable bullet that will go to the same place every time. Something every good game needs is some entropy, some variety. I want to be able to do stuff, not just aim and shoot. This lack of control really pulls away from the immersion for the player. So again, it's a nice concept, but it needs this game needs to go back to the workshop before it will really be a good game.
this is my first game
next game will be better
Nice concept, would have worked easier if angle could have been changed with the arrow keys. I had trouble trying to get 15 degrees.
Also the win screen shouldn't have two buttons that make a put up to a different site.
Fun game, but not much strategy - could we get to move tanks or something? what is the use of structures?
What do you mean I can't stay on newgrounds to play again? I don't want to refresh all, pressing "ok" should start new game or something.
well i thought the game was actually pretty good.. i would suggest maybe dumbing down the AI so they miss once and a while, or putting in a + - difficulty level... also maybe put in a training level so let users get familiar with the distance/degrees per shot.. all that said, it was a very fun game though!
