Ripple Dot Zero is a classic action platformer heavily influenced by the aestethics of the 16-bit era of the early The game features 20 Levels of running, bouncing, slashing and Gyro-Blade-throwing, set to the slick beats of an original soundtrack of pure fm-funk schmaltz. Even the sound effects where made with FM-synthesis to give the game that sharp sting of early gaming.

Love this game, not too easy, not too hard, not to short. Love the way you made it with different weapons, stuff. The bonus levels are challenging and the soundtrack is awesome. Thanks a lot it reminds me of several platformers but it's unic. Keep on rockin it goes in my favs.

This is why I've browsed new grounds for years, week after week, trying the new games. Once in a long while, someone makes a solid gem like this! Graphics are incredible (I have a weakness for pixel art), game play is solid and simplistic, sound effects and music were second only to the artwork! Loved it! I wasn't captivated by some of the game mechanics, namely the Ripple rescuing, and the percent-items-found/rank; the maps became too large and multi-directional (then again, the expansive maps were a pleasure to explore); the time limits and pill grabbing too pointless. I was captivated by the general plot, and the level art changes kept me striving for victory. And thanks for letting the player discover the back story; much better this way. All around, like I said, this is a gem!

I don't normally enjoy this type of game so much, but this was fantastic. The aesthetic aspects pulled me in and the gameplay was smooth and enjoyable. Great work!
