Ripple Dot Zero is a classic action platformer heavily influenced by the aestethics of the 16-bit era of the early The game features 20 Levels of running, bouncing, slashing and Gyro-Blade-throwing, set to the slick beats of an original soundtrack of pure fm-funk schmaltz. this game is defenitely worthy of the title of being a game... and by that I mean it is so well done, I wouldn't have been surprised to have seen this as an actual 16 bit era game being sold in a shop somewhere...

extremely well done, you set out to make something... and you pulled it off flawlessly.

I felt like the levels were too large and repetitive which made me lose my attention pretty quickly for this title.

but, please... stop doing tutorials... the best games are intuitive... just give the keys, or use standard keys for every game...

This game does a great job of combining the fast gameplay of Sonic with solid platforming and a focus on collectibles. It has a wonderful 90's style aesthetic, with a cartoon animal mascot and a sleek futuristic style. Everything from the sound design to the gameplay feels very smooth and professional. While the inspiration from the Sonic games is something the game wears proudly on its sleeves, it has enough of its own identity to stand out.
