Hey everyone, me here, bringing you the latest thing I've done.
This is a teaser to a philosophical-psychological science fiction story I'm working on in sprite series form. The full thing will be most likely posted to my YouTube account exclusively due to how large my Shockwave Flash files tend to become. Of course, if Tom Fulp is feeling generous and lets me upload bigger things, I'll post it here as well.
The story I made with some people's help for this will be about a war between two sides of humanity, one that wants to advance with technology and the other that wants to go back to their roots and live in the wilderness after wiping all traces of machinery out of the planet's surface.
The characters will all be renamed and have new personalities, regardless of the sprites. The visual material I used doesn't belong to me, it's mostly Capcom's, and a few things from everywhere. The music came from the remastered soundtrack of Megaman Zero 3, Neo Arcadia March.

Just in case here's the speech in text form:

Sometimes, I wonder. I cannot help, but wonder. What are we fighting for?
Aren't we destined to perish, anyways? Just, give it some thought.
We are walking a path towards self destruction, seemingly unaware of it.
My allies, my comrades. My friends, my family. They are all fighting a war that seems endless and is pointless.
It's not about humanity against machine anymore. It's a competition of stupid ideals.
Again, I wonder. If both sides in a war want to kill their enemies in the name of justice...
wouldn't that make both sides unjust, leaving no good people alive?
After all, every single day that passes convinces me more that we humans are the bad guys.
I... I must put an end to this senseless war... no matter the cost.
Before I... too... lose hope....

Well, that's it, thanks for reading this all if you even did, and well, I hope you liked the teaser and look forward to seeing the full series!
