This game is wonderful the story:great and sensful and most of all i didnt have a big problem with the slow walking like alot of people i felt it was tension making. The game itself had a horriying atmosphere even if it is 8-bit it had such a tension that i was trembeling at any dark rooms, basements, and anything else that is dark.I really enjoyed the game i just feel it is deserving of my 5 stars that i'll be giving this game! Also little teeny tiny tip is for the beggining where you go to floor 2 make sure to find a piece of cloth matches, oil and of course a lantern!Well nonetheless to newcomers good luck!!

I was about to give you a bad review. Thinking the hanging was nothing more than the whole game. But I am sure glad that I waited for the credits to be done to make sure I was wrong. It was a great game, no worries about that. I am actually excited for chapter 2-3-4-5-... all upcoming chapters.

A very good game that I've been looking forward to for a very long time now! Remembering the Kickstarter campaign, I'd admit I'd forgotten about the game until now, which I'm ecstatic to have found it again.

However, this game doesn't rely on cheap thrills for scares; it relies on a building of tension that climax into crescendos of terror! More unnerving than it is scream-worthy, it provides a thoroughly chilling experience that shouldn't be passed up. Great and refreshing entry into the horror genre, and can't wait for more!
