This made me chuckle. :D

Silly joke, but very nice animation with really good usage of the music.

dylan responds:

This is clearly a drama, not a comedy.

The animation is good; the music fits; it's put together quite well artistically. It's just not funny, and quite frankly, I was bored already after a few seconds. There's certainly potential for something really good in the author or authors, but this is not it. You've got the esthetics; now you need some content.

dylan responds:

Well it's not supposed to be funny. Homophones is clearly a high-stakes drama about a man with nothing left to lose. You gotta pick up on the subtleties of storytelling, man.

The animation style was good, but I would've liked it better if the art was better. The music and voices were good though, as well as the punchline. The first joke wasn't that great though.

I can't imagine anyone doing all that for Cheerios. Lucky Charms or Cocoa Puffs, yeah, but definitely not Cheerios.

dylan responds:

Plus after you eat Cheerios there's that kinda nasty smell that lingers for a while. It's like wet cardboard that's been sitting out and is starting to mildew.

Excellent. Usually I find short toons to have terrible integration of sound or voice acting; not the case here as both were nailed perfectly. The animation flowed smoothly based on the style. The speed of the animation lent itself to the joke as it did not focus on the journey itself. Very well done!

dylan responds:

Thanks!
