*FAIR WARNING THIS IS STILL WORK IN PROGRESS*

Stranded on a ship headed into deep space, a young boy finds himself on a distant world...

CONTROLS: Arrow Keys to move, Z to Jump, X to shoot. Down to interact (go through doors, use save point)

Game design: Frank Lueck
Art: Raquel Ganadin
Music: KungFuFurby

Just wanted to put this up since I put a lot of work into this. Sadly I can't work on the game anymore, though I do hope to come back to it some day. Let me know what you think! Takes ~ 30 mins or so to get through if you're quick. Plays better with a controller. Use Xpadder or something of the like to get this working.

I would not be surprised if there were tons of bugs still in this. Let me know if you find any game breaking ones ; )

i love the game but i got held up by a safe point before I could finish :( It wouldn't let me exit or select, just move up and down

Fraz-66 responds:

Darn! Sorry to hear that happened. Which save point was it? Glad to hear you like the game in any case :)

It's a good concept. I like the story but I feel as it is really slow in the beginning.

Fraz-66 responds:

Thanks for your feedback. I have to agree with you. I wanted to make it more progressive learning in case you've never played a platformer before. It used to be muuuuuch harder. Perhaps the tutorial area will be skippable in the future?

Healing costs are ridiculously high. There's no scaling to account for a learning curve or players new to the genre. Attempting to heal apparently also causes a save.

Fraz-66 responds:

I'll keep that in mind, right now I think it's just your current damage x 2 is the cost. Didn't really put much thought into it. Just so you know whenever you pick up a big heart you restore full health. something to keep in mind. Thanks for the feedback!

It was really enjoyable, brought me back to my days of playing super mario on the gameboy. Really nostalgic, quite a cute wee game. Quite addictive too.

Fraz-66 responds:

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :D I also grew up playing those kinds of games, as well as more recently Cave Story and various other metroidvania's. If you can't tell Cave Story was a huge inspiration.
