Lunaria Story is a 2D, side-scrolling, massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). It combines the best elements of other popular MMORPGs and classic 2D platform games. Players can go on thrilling quests, fight cool monsters, and use the unique pet system, training and merging pets, resulting in interesting combinations and stat boosts. It features delightful graphics, and simple, but impressive gameplay. Lunaria Story is browser based, so it requires no download, and is completely free to play.

I really like this so far! First, it all looks so adorable. The player character designs look good and I like both the beginner pet designs, as well as the beginner mount. The flying squirrel is a little too chubby to me, though. Also, usually when I try to play MMOs my laptop lags, but this one runs smoothly. I like how I can hide other players if the screen gets too crowded. I have a soft spot for side-scrolling games so that just adds to the appeal to me. And I don't have to worry about getting lost because the character runs to where it needs to be when I click the name of who I need to meet up with or what I need to kill for a quest. One complaint I have is that the first part of the game goes by really fast, before I thought about doing anything besides the main quests I realized I was over level 30! I also don't really like how some of the main quests require you to be at a certain level. I haven't paid all that much attention to the story, so I guess it shouldn't really matter as there is a plenty to do in the meantime. The leveling slowed down once I got to about level 40. I like how in the instance rooms you can go in AFK mode and have your character fight on its own while you try out alchemy or check on your farm. I usually forget about special abilities or take too long deciding which one to use, so I like this option a lot. Having the healing packs be based on how much they restore rather than how long they last was a nice touch. This is a great game for when you just want to play casually and watch a cute little fighter go berserk on some enemies.

this game is so brainless, i played it to see how far i could get without clicking, and it was pretty far, until you hit the point where it's completely impossible to advance without gold, which you have to buy with pocket money. i found it disgusting, boring, and a complete sense duller. all the people rating it 5 stars and saying it's amazing need to actually search more games, see that this is a bottom-of-the-barrel ripoff of games that were shit to begin with.

There's no point to playing this game. I made it to level 36 in a few minutes without even thinking. I honestly wouldn't be able to explain anything about how this game works, because no thinking is required to play it. Both HP and MP replenish by themselves when they get low, too.

In fact, you don't even need to think about your skillset. I thought carefully for a while about how to maximize my DPS and dodge ratio, but the game automatically upgrades your skills for you with a single click. I've beaten dungeons while making tea away from my computer. You literally only click once and the game handles the rest. I'm sure at high levels things might change, but for a Maple Story rip off, it's not very good.

The game mechanics themselves, even if you take yourself off auto-pilot, aren't very good. As a Hunter class, I could simply shoot and run away without enemies following me too much. They usually return to their position so I can stay out of danger and kill them easily. The most important part of a game, the game itself, is missing from Lunaria Story.
