Believe it or not, this story is an analogy for success.

Imagine it; a homeless bum, two kids with food, and seagulls(?) who are unsuccessful at taking the food. Many of them

The homeless man has almost nothing. The kids have everything he needs and more. The seagulls(?) are in the same spot, and can do little about it.

The Homeless man rushes in, allows himself to transform into something new (a seagull), brushes the seagulls to the side like the failures they are, and not only gets the food offered, but consumes all the food, the food provider, and manages to grab a few luxury items along the way (cigarettes).

This is a translation of every rags-to-riches story you ever heard. Poor man undergoes life style change to conquer competition and get the lions share of an otherwise inaccessible prize. The kids are like the industrial complex. the seagulls are his competitors, and the food as well as the cigarettes are his achievements. You could compare this man to Mark Zuckerberg or Steve Jobs if you wanted.

When I first saw this, I was a bit confused and a little disturbed, only because you basically showed a homeless man turn into a bird and then eat a small child. But I noticed how some reviewers aspired to be like him, and I enjoyed it despite such qualms.

Its kinda inspiring when you put it into perspective :-)

FelixColgrave responds:

hate to break it to ya dude, but this film is about a homeless man that turns into a bird and eats a small child. I could have made something that was allegory for a real life scenario, but real life is less interesting to me than a homeless man that turns into a bird and eats a small child.
