I woke up in a room... It is not locked and I remember everything. I'm a werewolf. Tonight I will turn and people will die, unless I find a way to prevent myself from escaping this place.
There IS a recipe for the potion in game :-)
Game might improve with better graphics, so that you can actually see what you're doing.
I also considered some of the items useless: tinderbox, because he seems unwilling to find any wood; hammer&nails, didn't seem to work on anything; why the hell is there a rifle!?; and the hatch is too hard to spot, I personally clicked on it by accident
a nice twist on escape games but it seems way to short.
Great game. For everyone having a little issue with finding the potion recipe, I recommend looking for a second sheet of paper. Good attention to detail as well is worth it.
On the other hand, this game has some issues, minor, that prevent me from giving it Five stars. Issue number one. Detection for objects. I pressed and pressed around where the chain (and the windows lock) many a time, and I didn't hit it. You need tight hit detection or what have you at times, but you need to be a little forgiving on pixels as well. The window lock was finicky, as was most of the stuff involving the window.
Also, direction facing matters, which was kinda odd to see, and not something intuitive from a first time play through at all. It only matters (as far as I know) with a Calm Night, as the exact same situation but me not waiting while facing the door led the attempt to go out the window, and gave me Frightful Night.
The game doesn't load for me...
I mentioned this when it was added to AG, but is there any chance you could make an expanded version? More nights, more areas, more things to do? I absolutely love the idea of it, and the execution; it's not just "click until something good happens", or goofy puzzles, it's basic logic and paying attention. And it's wonderful.
