This game is not original at all we see games exactly like this almost every week it seems. So that will shave off a star. Another problem is that I don't like the controls, I wish it would be the arrow keys instead of the mouse because if you go off the game screen your ship is shot to the corner which can be annoying, that will shave off 1/2 a star. Another thing is that unlike other games like this you don't have 3 lives. You need to survive on one life in a mission which is extremely hard if your playing on a hard difficulty, that will shave of an entire star. One thing I liked is the alien artillery, I thought it was a nice touch, so that will add 1/2 a star to a total of 3 stars.

This is really fun, i havent played a game like this in a while, and im glad i chose to play this one, i hope this makes it.

This game is very entertaining, my only complaint is that I had to commit suicide a couple of times to get all upgrades, as it was too short

It has really great potential, the gameplay is great. I think you should make how the mouse functions a bit smoother/faster, it feels a bit sluggish. But overall it's great.

Basically an OK game. But there are some problems with it I would prefer to see fixed.
When your ship gets hit by bullets, there is almost no way to tell. Make the bullets explode against your ship with a sound, or do something other than pass through your ship and reduce your health.
The graphics, while fine for sprites, don't really do anything interesting, making the game feel a tad lifeless for me when I play it. The sound effects were underwhelming for the most part as well.
Finally, connecting your achievements with the Newgrounds Medal system might be a good idea.
Bottom line - The game certainly has potential. As it stands now, it's just an average top-down shooter that lacks any serious amount of polish. I played it until I got to level 3, died twice, and then wrote this review.
