Very enjoyable !
I din't find it particularly hard. I would consider it hard without the checkpoints, but there are plenty of them so the game is never frustrating.
My only complaint is the music, which is good, but a bit repetitive. A bit more variety would be welcome for an half an hour simple playthrough.
