UPDATE: Seriously stoked for my first ever Front Page and I'm digging Daily 3rd, thanks!

My entry for the NATA 2013 Novice Round.

I'm really hoping to continue with the story sometime down the road, as I had an awesome time building my toon around "The Adventurer" by Step, and came up with a ton more ideas that didn't make the final cut. Plus I'm bummed it's only under 2 minutes. Think of it as a teaser.

I really like the Indiana Jones reference... you know when he grabbed his hat from under the closing door. Great animation!

You timing of animation to go with the music is impeccable.
So often animators try and ignore the musical dynamics and rests and think that the viewers wouldn't notice. But we do notice and it throws us off when animators don't give enough to flow the animation and the music so for that splendid job. Ties the action and adventure really nicely together.
This is so far the best entry I've seen that has taken serious consideration of the musical details and changes.

Splendid and well done. Hope you win.

Fun animation with great allusions! Are the gates in the beginning supposed to be based off of Jurassic Park? Either way, this short clip was splendid!

Thanks, man, I seriously appreciate that! I was wondering if anyone would notice that, good eye! I dig putting allusions from my favorite movies/shows in my toons Theres another Jurassic Park reference in my Boombox animation near the beginning, see if you spot it

Good music, good artwork, good cliffhanger ending. I am interested in seeing who is shooting at the two adventurers in the next episode of this series. Also the faces make the video funny as well.
