Arron and his father survived a nuclear attack and now must survive the aftermath. Food is scarce, oceans and lakes are contaminated, and everyone must cover all areas of their bodies to prevent radiation from hitting them. With a crumbled world, can people still hold on to their morals?

This is my second round entry for NATA 2013. I went for something near my comfort zone this time. I like writing dark stories with a touch of hope.

Fun Fact: Yes, this is an indirect sequel to my first round animation :)

Thanks for watching, peace.

it's smooth but the voice acting needs just alittle more work. but all and all it's good not bad.

The way the world is going, something like this might happen. Never know. I wish I could get more detailed, but it's 3:25AM, and I'm tired...Like, drop on your ass before you reach bed kinda tired. Good thing I have this laptop. I'm already reclining on the couch. Awesome animation, really makes you think and the world needs more of that. Good night.

Although the animation isn't spectacular, your effort shows. And your idea was reflected by the flash beautifully.

well theres definetly worse on newgrounds
but i could´nt find myself to liking this one bit.
its all very been there done that said that.
plot was weak, sorry to say, why didnt the father hide as well if all they wanted was the food on the table? (unnecessary drama)
physics apparrently dont work here seeing how they are all fine without wearing gas masks.
animation was what ive come to expect of newgrounds.
voice-acting was sub-par, though i have heard worse.
Animation 6/10
Voice Acting 4/10
Plot 3/10
PS: just covering everything up wont help you much in highly irradiated environment

Mrcoleman responds:

The father couldn't hide because the looters knew someone was in there. They'll find it suspicious if a barricaded house had no one inside. For the sake of having a story, I ignored the fact that no one can breathe or survive a global nuclear attack. If I didn't, the story would go like this, after the nuclear attack everyone dies. The end.
