Interesting, challenging, but far too short. The ending was lackluster as well.
The two crushers sitting so close to one another completely break the opening level. There's no way to know if you're in just the right spot to avoid being crushed, so it takes a miracle to get past it. Add some sort of visual contrast with the crushers against the black background and you'll vastly improve the gameplay.
Maybe there was a problem with text instructions. Did you see them? You should hold SHIFT to move faster.
The game play was interesting and simple. I understand that this is game is simply an experiment I guess to perhaps beta test the game-play and feel so I guess I will offer up some constructive criticism on that. I did feel though the game as you mentioned in the description is in fact unfinished version of a whole and so far all those art and graphics seem to be a place holder for something else to be in place?
The game-play was fun and simple, perhaps this could be taken further somehow? some suggestions could be that your players body perhaps could change shape and speed dependent on power-ups picked up through the game for example, you pick up a power up and become short but wide making you an easy target for those crushers but easily slip through those saws which move up and down? Well what I am trying to get at is that there is always more to explore.
The game-play shows to be simple and interesting so I would love to see the finished product of it.
