Panda Rush features tight platformer controls, procedurally generated levels, ever-increasing difficulty, retro graphics and high score table.
I really like the feel of the game. It's just alot of fun to dash and run around. I wish there was more variation to it though.
I'm glad you liked the feel of it! I released Panda Rush as a way to get feedback before sinking a lot of time into making content for a game people potentially don't even like. Feedback like yours makes me want to make a sequel.
Really nice work on this. The music is catchy and foreboding, the graphics are crisp and clean, and the gameplay itself is just simple addiction, running, jumping, bouncing on, avoiding spikes... escaping that gigantic monster in back. It's great. The choice of a panda as main character makes it all the better too, keep it going!
Good idea and really agree with @Jojiro as well. Needs some sense of change as you play along. Even if that's just like changing the background to like a desert if you make it far enough. Also I would add a distance meter.
I'm glad you enjoy the game enough to want more! I eventually want to add in achievements, upgrades and items along with setting changes.
I'd love to see a version of this game that increased the sense of progression as you moved along. Power ups would be welcome. A plot would be welcome. The ability to finish a level would be welcome.
This has a lot of potential to grow, and could be a lot more exciting and better executed as a result. I look forward to see what you have in store for the future.
