9X mission is a space war mission. Kill the all invaders to end the dictatorship of evil races. Use Ship upgrades to fight against stronger and strongest enemies.
On the Introduction screen, the first thing that stands out to me is the background graphic. The center of it interferes with the text there, making it very difficult to read. Please use a more subtle background.
There is a typo in special consideration #3. It says, "your game session will over". Should it say, "your game session will be over"?
In special consideration #4, the speech is redundant. Where it says, "your game achievements attained by you...". You are referring to the player unnecessarily. You can either the phrase "by you", or you can say, "the game achievements attained by you", but I think the former is more effective.
Another typo in special consideration #5. The word "fix" should be "fixed".
On the medals page, remove the word "too" where it says "too many mile-stones". The way it's worded, it sounds like passing through excessive mile-stones is detrimental to the player's progress.
On the Options & Upgrades screen, when you move the mouse over the button for weapon upgrades or ship upgrades, part of the descriptive text that appears is behind the Net Freedom Games Logo, so you can't see it. You already have the logo in the lower-left corner, so there's no need to put a much bigger version of it in the smack dab in the middle. It's from Net Freedom Games. We get it already.
Kill the sound effects when on the Options and Upgrades Screen.
Please consider using several explosion sounds when destroying enemy ships. The same sound repeatedly is monotonous, and gets annoying. With the continuous background sounds, I eventually just muted all sounds (which is the good aspect of the game).
Onto the gameplay and design themselves:
1) This game is in serious need of redesigning. It becomes boring too quickly, and the difficulty, despite having the ability to select your difficulty, is not as intended by those parameters, but this:
It's too hard to avoid being hit, due to enemy ships firing too rapidly. This is especially true in the beginning of the game, where it will take several shots to destroy an enemy ship. Combine that with entire player's ship graphic used as the bounding box instead of using a combination of smaller rectangles, and it's very frustrating.
2). I would actually like to have some new permanent weapons with which to upgrade my ship. Upgrades should consist of more than just _modifying some numbers_.
3). It says, "Ship Features", but it's merely just adding more health...
When I first start the game (after clicking the desired difficulty button), I get the following run-time exception:
"Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2035: URL Not Found."
Using Flash 11.6, debug in Google Chrome 26.0.1410.64 m, running Windows XP SP3.
Sorry, but this is just not a good game. I love space shooters, but this one was just thrown together, as good game design was not considered.
- Ziro out.
It looked promising when it loaded up. I have waited for good horizontal shooter for a while, but I got disappointed. No bosses, health, you can crash with other planes without any penalty. Few power ups, you can repair your ship and increase your firepower at any time, all you need is money from enemies. In conclusion, it just gets boring after three minutes.
A decent game with a few flaws in my opinion, that should be worked out.
As an example, the size of the player-controlled airship is way to big, so that it is a nearly impossible task to shoot the enemies without getting hit yourself, also I would change the cash / upgrading system. By that i mean maybe add some additional things to upgrade (extra weapons, bombs, frequency of the shots, etc. for example), or divide the game in parts where you can only upgrade at a certain time, to let the player make smart decisions when to upgrade.
good for a shooter game
