Ludum Dare and English class project overlapped, so I did both at the same time.

Based on Aldous Huxley's 1932 classic "Brave New World". Drop soma pills on people to keep the society happy. If one person gets too unhappy, everything blows up.

Aldous Huxley did more than drugs?!?! just kidding...sort of.

it's not a bad idea, and i like that you combined schoolwork with your art....but it's sorta dry....doesn't make me want to read the book (it's a goodie, though). I like the concept, but the timing is a little wonky.

it is too simple and you cant clearly see the connection to the book. ok there is the soma, but well i think it could have been just anything and any book. i kinda expected more when i read it would be based on the book. also graphics are low. besides of that it is ok.
sorry dude.

Entertaining, fun joke, simple to play, and gets frustrating fast. Good game. Fix the music though, it doesn't loop right.

NoLanLabs responds:

The music should be fixed now, thanks for the heads-up.

A weird and misleading adaptation.

"If one person gets too unhappy, everything blows up."

Read the book again. The consequence is impossible.

Beyond that, it was good. Maybe too simple.

Well, yeah, I guess I meant for that to represent, like, the importance of stability to the society, or something... but it's just cool to see everything blow up
