A game made in 48 hours for the Ludum dare 26

Sunset Death is a 2 player duel game:
- The goal is to kill your opponent 3 times before he does the same.
- You can dash, backdash (both only once in a fight) and slash with your sword.

Controls are simples:
- P1: s (backdash) d (slash) f (dash)
- P2: l (backdash) k (slash) j (dash)

The game is a mix of reflexes, mindgame and alea. But the most important is that it keep the fight simple. Everything is in the atmosphere.

the game is totally awesome and fun i think you should make another one when you have several opponents(sorry for bad english) and more attacks and dodges it will be cool

honestly, i gave it a 5/5 on impulse, a classic duel you cant beat that idea, the atmosphere is great, the Solo play should be expanded and improved, the winning conditions should be explained, since i dont really know why i win sometimes but lose other times or how to win in general
rising tensions, picking your movement tactic, going for the strike then waiting for the result

very refreshing but most ppl wont have the chance to play the 2p mode

(sorry for bad english) that's cool to see such initiatives. newgrounds lacks terribly of originality these times.

A simple game, the sound makes the experience soothing but it cant be played properly in single player. Still... the atmosphere of the game is nice and the art style reminds me of red moon (I think that's the name of the game, i don't remember). The "game" part of the game is something that could be better, but to be fair its a 2 player (newgrounders tend to go to this site alone, while no one is watching (<_<) (>_>), so future reference make 1 player games.). That's all I have to say, great work. I like where you are headed, but I think you will fare better in animation.
