In this game you're the only thing that isn't a square. Needless to say they're all out to get you.
Arcade - Defeat enough henchsquares to lure out the boss. He won't go down so easily... low centre of gravity.
Endless - A never-ending swarm of enemies. Last as long as you can for a high score.
ASDW - Move
Arrow keys - Shoot (press two at once for diagonal shots)
Z - Move on / retry etc. when prompted
P - Toggle sound
This was created within 48 hours for Ludum Dare 26, theme: minimalism. I worked solo on this but it uses some code from Bloody Christmas and as a result turned out quite similar. For this reason and for some uncertainties towards the sounds used (although they are all royalty free, I didn't record them) it was submitted to the 72 hour Jam with the relaxed rules.
Speaking of which, you may have been able to beat the boss in Bloody Christmas but thanks to the minimalist (more so than usual) graphics you won't have lag to help you this time!

Same bad mechanics as Bloody Christmas... I like your previous shooting games, when you have to press one button to shoot the crap out of your enemy, but not this one
