It's a platformer. There's not much else to say about it. Arrow keys move. Up (or X) jumps.

It was made in 48 hours for Ludum Dare 26. The theme was minimalism. Totally screwed up the theme, but the game's still pretty decent I guess.

considering that you didn't finish, it's pretty amazingly how complete it feels.

Pretty good game. the timing got annoying at some parts though.
Was there something i missed though there was a power up i could not get?

Nah, you didn't miss anything. The shiny things don't do anything but play a fancy sound. Sorry, I know it's terrible design to leave them in but I was unbearably tired so I just submitted and passed out. :P

I did change the level design on the last level so you can get the final shiny thing. It was next to impossible to get past the spider. You might need to clear your cache to see the changes though.

Decent game. Good considering the time constraints you had to make it under. Good graphics.

0x6a61686e responds:

The graphics are actually made using the palette/resolutions of the original NES... for the most part. I got a bit lazy towards the end and just threw in some hand-written sprites for the ending and 'title.' They still abide by the palette but possibly less so by the limitations per-sprite of the NES' hardware. They could still technically work as tiles though.

Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated. c:
