This is the second demo of my platformer engine created with flixel.

Now there are triggers for scripting events and a first Boss enemy.
And I fixed a lot of background issues and workarounds ;-)

Edit:
I Fixed the aiming of the Boss-Enemy. And added a Newgrounds-API-Scoreboard .

I also added the Idea of InGame Advertising with Billboards- and Poster-like banners integrated in the Level.

Solid graphics, Decent sound. Needs some plot development and maybe a bigger variety of enemies. Nice work!

This looking out be a great game, I enjoyed the demo, the music, the feel of the whole thing. I have only one quarrel: in the final version, could you include an alternate control set-up involving the arrow keys for movement? A lot of players, including myself, prefer to use those. Thanks, and good luck in completing this little gem.

Great work on engine, for full game I'd consider changing health bar location to somewhere else than above characters head, or atleast make it visible only on combat. Melee attacks would be great addition. Also it wouldn't hurt if you could buy ammo for weapons.

Slam a good story and polish around edges and you'll have a real gem in your hands.

Yes, i thought about that too... i think when i finally design the HUD i will place it somewhere on it.
Maybe with a little doom-style image of the player (with more wounds when health is lower).

I like it - cool style cool level design - could maybe benefit from melee attacks? Also I'm not sure about his move speed - feels clunky - but I really like the physics engine on the pickups

Melee attacks is a great idea... i thought about infinit ammo on the pistol or random ammo drops, but a knife or so will do it better, i think :-)
