Well this was notbad its simple fun the idea is ok and could go either way, you have some nice detail and the game is osmething you could play for a bit I didnt like the timer too much, and could use much more medals on this one anyways fun game

Pongoal Blitz is a mix of soccer and pong with a bit of personality. A fast, timed mode based on score-attack with random characters and levels. Tons of new features. Score as high as you can.
In case you enjoy the game comment on your favorite or least favorite character or location.
A person with highest score by May 15, 2013 may choose a level theme and characters, and I will make them (my scores do not count). Additional top 2 players may choose characters with unique skills and I will make them. All other suggestions are more than welcome.
Controls: Use mouse to move goalie up and down. If you hit the ball with the center of the goalie, you shoot fast fire-balls. Some object may be interacted with mouse-click. You can also slightly change ball direction if you press back and forward direction keys (if the ball is stuck).
P - pause. Once pause press Q to quit to main menu.
M - mute.
H - help.
UPDATE: We have winners for the high score contest. 1st place Classicmaster 2nd TheRed555 3rd Nijsse.
Pretty fun. It doesn't appear that the score is entirely based on goals? I earned eighty-something thousand with ten goals to nil, but my internet was bugging out at the time so it didn't send the medal or score. That's fine since I did the same thing again a few minutes later, but for some reason my score was only 60,100.
Oh, and I'm stumped on the medal Oscar. Absolutely no idea how to unlock it. If it's a random event, than it's very uncommon.
I like the menu music, but it could do with music during gameplay as well.
Nice twist on the classic pong game. Any hints on how to earn the remaining medals??
Although not an original idea, it feels fresh. :)
Loved how the images change for each game play and a big + for the details like the croco's eggs, the fire balls.. etc
But I wish there was some way to interact when the ball gets near-stuck in vertical bounces. I had a game that consisted nearly ONLY of vertical bounces... which ended with 0:0 :/

Thanks for playing :). Actually there is a "secret" way to change the direction of the ball using the arrow keys if it starts to bounce vertically.

There is version without timer :) It is called 'Pongoal', without 'Blitz'
