Cartoon drawn in 2006, but on Newgrounds it was not.
Original score written and performed by Ghost Reflection.
Sorry for that junk.
That was fucked up.... Disturbance for the sake of it, I'm not complaining, this is not your average horror film, the story is unreachable, that's why 1 star goes away.
This vid is so wrong that I HAD to add it to my favs so everyone can have their paperclip.
I really enjoyed the abstract and apparently metaphoric nuances within your flash animation... It's not often something so strange goes completely without explanation; but when it does happen, I can't help but compare it to the dreamlike works of Salvador Dali. A particular film by Dali, Un Chien Andalou, struck me as similar in its very grotesque, unexplained and spontaneous nature.
I understand that many will have trouble fully grasping the purpose or intent of the film. And despite that my own interpretation may be skewed or misguided, I believe it goes something along the lines of a representation of a generally pointless, grotesque, painful, secretive and hopelessly oppressed existence within the confines of what appeared to be some sort of government testing facility. Perhaps the statement was to be applied to all of society, or perhaps it was more or less a personal reflection on some past event, but I do believe I understood the general idea; and with films such as these, one must be at least contented with that.
There's also the interpretation that the cartoon relates to laboratory testing, such as the testing done by the U.S. on innocent people (MK Ultra). In any regard, the movie was very... moving, and I appreciate the style and effort put into it.
Good job. I can tell this was a product of a lot of heart-felt effort.
What the fucking hell, aooart from beign completly sick the animation is good.
The animation was well done, and the sound matched perfectly. For me personally, I think it was a bit overly disturbing, and I've seen some intense stuff. That's why you get 2.5 right in the middle.
And PLEASE, just explain a LITTLE BIT... its good to leave the viewer to decide whats happening, but you as the animator have to lead them on, or at least give a little push. There was none of that in this animation. Just sickly but (well done) animations.
I just don't know what your trying to get across here...
