A short tale of love in wartime
Animated for NATA Open Round, 2013
The war ends for a day of religious rest - and the blue man takes this opportunity to cross the river border to meet with his lover - "purple"
I started this animation a while after the open topic was released, and due to last minute computer problems, I had to replace some storyboards with still framework rather than fully animated scenes - Luckily, this wasn't a very common occurrence... but I had to leave certain scenes stripped down and bare - The brief hard drive malfunction caused me to lose a little linework, but not too much.
I'm a little ashamed I have to submit it like this, but the deadline is looming, and anything is better than nothing - If I should make it to round 2, I'll be putting in my all, and will have nothing to stop me! - so hopefully, we shall see!

This is good.
The finished movie would be nice to watch. Nice start. The movements of "Blue" was sketchy at times, but you're not done yet.

I'd give it a higher rating, but it's not finished, so... yeah. You should spend more time on it and reupload it; it could be the next "The Reward"!
