NATA 2013 - Open Round Animations with the theme, "A New Holiday."

Greetings! The following is my submission for the open round of NATA 2013. I learned so much from last year, so I thought I might as well drop by once again and give it a try.
It took me a bit to decide to enter this year, since I am not counting on having all that much spare time on my hands - but oh well.
Everyone entering have had 25 days to make an animation from scratch to the theme "a new holiday" and so, this tale revolves around the elven holiday on which the Laslock tree's one and only flower blossoms (which I made up).
I had just worked a bit with this form of storytelling in school, and wanted to implement it into an animation. I tried to keep things pretty simple, so that the process wouldn't become too stressed with the deadline closing in - and for once it worked, so all in all working on this animation has been a nice experience.

Beautiful.
The story was sweet and simple, the character design interesting and unique, and the music added a wonderful atmosphere. The voice acting was simple and reminded me of a fairy tale. Although it was beautiful and brought a smile to my face, I could not help but notice the slight amateur tone to the animation. I myself am very picky about animation, so I ask you not to take offense. But the slight sketchiness added a childish gleam to the entire thing, Which fit in perfectly.
