Winner of clay.io's Got Game? competition!
A surprisingly intelligent flash game.
The story's a little bit out there, but mostly stays cohesive. I don't blame you if you'll scratch your head at the few last scenes, though.
The music is, for the most part, pretty good! The last grand, 'epic' victory themed track was nice. That said, you get hit over the head with a 'sad' music that sounds like it's trying just a little bit too hard to provide weight to the (spoiler, oh gawd) character's deaths. Which, ofcourse, there is none, because of the title, but whatever.
Another complaint of mine is the poor performance of the game. I don't know if it's just me, but it got hitched up a couple of times, freezing for 10 seconds on end, especially when I scrolled the text. A couple of minor glitches too, where during the fire-controle sections, everything would disappear and I'd be forced to hit re-do. No big deal, but a glitch nonetheless.
Also, nobody uses ellipses whilst chatting. I get that it's supposed to sound/look dramatic, but it makes it feel like I'm reading a script instead of reading people in a chatroom.
These minor gripes aside, I really liked this game! Fantastic mix of fiction and 'what the fuck's going on here-simulator'. Good job.
just perfect , i love how the story started in an realism scenario but then twisted to fictive . and the explanation of how the time machine work are totally coherent! and i am happy that everybody lives at the end :3. LOVE IT!
Woa.. It's the best flash game i've played lol
I loved this game , i dont even know were to start of how cool this was <3
Mind Blown game! So, i still can't figure out who's the top 3.. so i'll keep searchin' :)
