This is a pet project I've been working on sporadically for about a year. The first time I heard this song back in the late 80s, I envisioned something like this but as a music video. Thank you to my daughter, Megan for buying me the song so long ago.

The song lyrics are chronological by decade, separated by the chorus, starting with the late 40s and ending in the 60s through late 80s.
As to the lyrics, "heavy metal suicide", there seems to be two schools of thought - the first being that it refers to the suicides of youth who listened to heavy metal, the second being that it refers to simply heavy metal and then to the suicides at Jonestown. I've chosen the latter.
