Very nice game, good graphics, interface, newbie friendly.. kinda made me wish there were some RPG element to it too, but that's just me.

I don't know why this game is getting so many negative reviews, I quite like it. The AI makes quite a few successful shots because if the generous 'after-shot line' that you get to plan where the billiard balls are going,

Anyway, pretty decent billiard game ^^.

I'm sorry for the one star score, but I will explain why I gave such a low score in a moment.

I'm no billiards In fact I hardly ever play pool but I have to say that this game isn't like real pool at all. I know that the game of billiards is all about angles and lines and even though I hardly ever play it, I will say that I'm decent at. This game however seems skewed toward your AI opponent; allow me to explain:

Right off the brake, I scratch the cue ball, that hardly ever happens in a real pool game. Well, the AI opponent took over and proceeded to pocket seven balls right off the bat, some shots were absolutely impossible to make in the real world yet my opponent was able to sink them.

I thought to myself "Well this is my first time playing the game, so it is going to take me a little while to get used to the controls." So I played the game about five more times just to get myself acclimated to the fine points of the game. And every single time I played, I lost, I either scratched the cue ball right off the brake or right Whereas my opponent was able to sink shot, after shot, after shot, after shot, you can see where I'm going with

However, this review is not all bad. I will say that I do like the music, the "guidelines", I do like the "e-mail" system, I do like the fact that you do have some customizing options for your avatar, and I'm sure that this would be a good game, but scratching the cue ball game, after game, after game, after game, and losing over, and over, and over, and over again is not a good quality of the game.

I would recommend some fine tuning of the game, find tune the physics of it so they are a little more believable; because watching your AI opponent sink absolutely impossible shots is not going to make a player want to replay this game, it's only going to aggravate and frustrate them.
