"The Little Jamurai" was the first openly distributed cartoon from Dreadfully Slick Developments and has been on this portal since 2000 if you can believe it.
The original Jamurai cartoon, The Loud Song of Silence, can be found exclusively at
A note to those quick to jump to conclusions out there: The Jamurai, originally created for mixtapes in the mid-90's, predate Samurai Champloo, Samurai Jack and Ghost Dog which they are often compared to. We don't mind the comparison, but we were here first.

Boy this was good, simple well thought and well-drawn, I think this is another original movie to date.
I think the illustrations were amazing, This also reminds me of "To kill an assasin" the sword and noir type feel to it.
You need to make more of these and we need to watch more you've made my day.
Keep up the good work.

I liked it

That was badass! The music was good, and the lines were damn good too. Not to criticize, but I was a little disappointed at the lack of blood. Keep up the good work.

This was done in 2000, before we knew that the public craved that level of realism in their cartoons. Forgive us.

Hot shit.......

That was amazing....and I think this movie was a bit of an inspiration for "Tha Final Task", don't you? I'm glad to see someone that can put good music on their Flash movies that isn't crap like ICP, Slipknot or Blink 182. That Jamurai is the man.

Its very hard to make a black and white flash and give characters shading..This animator cirtanley did a great job at that... This story line was below satisfactory however..I think they were going for a funny aproach, which obviously doesnt sit well when its in "Serious Shorts".. Good Job on the animations, but needs a better story-line...

What the HELL was that!!!!

I thought it was pretty good. I thought it was pretty funny becuase you don't often see something like that. Just go to tell you don't mess with a guy with a big sword next to him..
