I venture to upload this cartoon here.
The cartoon was made in March at the workshop of David Buob.
My goal was to make a short movie in 48 hours, the length of a minute.
Music, voice, animation, graphic design was made by me.
I hope you enjoy!

Very nice flash. I really like the story here. Also the short length doesn't bother me at all. Sometimes you just don't need many words or scenes to tell a story.

The story itself is simple, but it's just true nevertheless. Two people fall in love, their love grows, their love changes... after a while, their love grows cold... but some new love can develope from that.

The music and sound effects are good addition to the flash. It just adds that little extra to it. Without sound or music, the story would be the same. But I guess I wouldn't like the flash as much as I like it now.

Good work!

After viewing the flash, I thought something along the lines of, that's it? I admit there's nothing wrong with being short and succinct, in fact I rather prefer a short and succinct piece than a long and overbearing one. The problem I find with this is that not enough is done with it. With many shorts, because of the time constraints, the people pack as much as they can into however long they have. With this short, it almost seems like the exact opposite.

Don't get me wrong, I like the individual aspects of the flash. The animation is very crude in a cute way and the music is very fitting. My problem is that these aspects aren't showcased to their full potential. One point in particular is where the heart is soaring up into the sky only to freeze up and come crashing down. You could have had a split screen showing the couple as the heart is going through it's transformation. Show them falling in love, fighting, and right before they walk away, the heart comes down and collapses the split screen.

Overall, the aspects are good, I just need to see more done with it.

2/5

Just like in your art section, I like the depth, the thoughtfulness of your work. You manage to show us the highs and lows of a love in just one minute in clear pictures with a fitting soundtrack.

And I especially like the fact that you left a shimmer of hope (the growing flower) in an otherwise sad ending. My fav movie of you so far, keep it up!

Creative, symbolic, and at the end... tragic. :/ With all the fun things going on in the sky, the guy sitting on the cloud for one, I wasn't expecting such an ending. It was nicely made though. Btw, that upper blue sky, it almost looks like waterpaint, is it? Keep up the good work!

About upper blue sky(it's a one huge sky background with gradient and texture).
