I've animated a Calvin and Hobbes strip, using Bill Watterson's drawings as keyframes.

This catches the atmosphere of the comics perfectly. The animation is smooth and fitting. There's not much sound but that is in this case that's a good thing. Great use of Wattersons drawings.
my only question is, why the hell haven't they made this into a show for adult swim

This is awesome, I think this really captured the spirit of the original comic strip. The frame-by-frame animation was excellent and really well done. The background looks really nice too, I like the details you added in there like the snow. Nice tribute to Calvin & Hobbes. I'm looking forward to seeing more from you.
