I've animated a Calvin and Hobbes strip, using Bill Watterson's drawings as keyframes.
Here's the original:
This made my day~
You nailed it.
That was actually pretty good!
Its the first animation I seen that has gotten a good mood from the stip, the pouncing tiger Hobbes, and the hilarious Calvin. Keep making more and you might be a legend to keep the famous comic stip going!
Pure excellence!! Please, please, please make more!
The quality of this is unlike any other C&H animation I've seen yet. You've reproduced the essence of the franchise effortlessly and completely, and I'm very excited to see this continued.
Thank you and keep up the good work!
I love you sir, and shall watch your every production like a hawk.
You did a great job of blending into the original drawing style of Watterson himself. The sound effects were simple and perfect for Calvin and Hobbes style. A little rough around the edges with the shoes, but they work. In short, that was a great first submission with some room for improvement. But for trying to do justice to Calvin and Hobbes, you get, no question, 5/5.
