Like Decky below, I am also new to the series. I caught on easily since I watched the music video before this I guess.

Animation is okay, but facial expression(especially the blond that was recently introduced as the Kings girlfriend). Her lip animation is poor, but the rest of the characters had far better lip movements and animation. Something tells me it's because she's recently introduced or something like that.

The script for this is good, considering this is still a show after 40 some episodes. I feel like the main problem in this flash is some facial expression and the occasional background problems I have. I just feel like some settings look better than others with your style.

Overall, decently made flash with a touch of humor.

Thank you for the review. The mouth loops are being phased out, in favor of actual lip-syncing.

I'm new to this series so found the story a little hard to grasp but that's my fault and obviously I won't mark down for that. I'll review as best as I can.

The animation was smooth for the best part although it would be good to increase the time spent on some facial animation. When the screen stays on one character for a while it can seem visually boring because of this. Maybe the odd background joke or something going on to break up the amount of still image.

Background music or more use of music won't have hurt either. I really hate complete silence and at some points you had a good few seconds of it.

It had a couple of good gags but dragged for the most part. A good skill in animation was shown though, maybe it's just not a series for me or I just don't get it. I don't know.

Thank you for the in-depth review. I appreciate your feedback. I'm going to be implementing a wider variety of shots and camera angles in the future. All of the episodes after this one have background music, and I'm doing my best to make sure episode 46 does not drag.

The preloader screen looked great, kudos to Mabelma on that one. Also, may want to change the description a bit as King William is not in the woods until the very end of this episode.

The animation was great. However, I did find a couple of problems here and there. I am guessing that the reason the "on the last episode" clip was a little grainy was to make room for the rest of the episode. The only other problems I saw in animation from time to time was that there was a bit of white on the side of the screen at times and looking closeup at the chair later in the episode, it looks like the bucket tool was used.

While that may be a good idea at times, it is better to use the brush tool as the bucket tool does not fill in the color for the whole area where it is being used. Could also erase excess lines at times when it becomes an issue to make the animation much smoother.

The voice acting was great. Drake's voice still has a slight static in the air from the voice acting. Then the only other person I noticed that had this issue was the voice of King William's girlfriend. Aside from that, the rest of the voices were great and sounded really nice.

As for the credits song, instead of putting it as "Song", why not upload it to the Audio Portal and link to it from there instead? The rest of the music used was nice. Kind of funny how that Beatles song played when William wanted a Beatles song to cheer him up.

The story itself is still progressing along nicely I see. Like to see how Drake is still trying to do his best for his kingdom. However it was quite sad that when King William increased the taxes far too high he felt he was crap; but it kind of makes since given sometimes a person can be unreasonable and when people do not like them for it then they feel like no one wants them around. Looking forward to seeing how future episodes are.

Also found it quite humorous how Guy tried to cheer William up by first mocking him, then making a book showing a ruler being straightened out which I thought was funny. Then a little more humorous in that William revealed he had a son the whole time but never said anything about him seeing as he just seemed to leave him alone all the time.

Overall, great episode, some of the backgrounds need to be colored in a bit from time to time and excess lines erased, but aside from that, another great episode.

Thank you for the in-depth review! I'd upload the credits song to the Audio Portal, though I just don't think it's good enough since it's very short and repetitive.

I'm glad you liked the writing, and I will follow your advice on using the brush tool when necessary.

The preloader image was great, Mabelma did a good job on that.
As for the rest, it was good, tho I think your characters need an upgrade. With the Cyanide & Happiness Show premiering this fall, and how similar your characters look to Cyanide & Happiness, it'll just be called a ripoff. I don't really understand the jumbled mix of stick figures and actual drawn-out people like the king. That gives the episode an inconsistent feeling, and it might confuse some people.

Voice acting is bland, and boring. The voice actors need to emote more :D This would be really good with better voice acting!

I thought this was Pretty good, the animation and humour was an improvement over episode 39. Sometimes the characters seemed too stiff and it seems like you took a lot of shortcuts on the animation in this episode. The jokes were funny and humorous though, like the Moogle pun and the I'm a Loser song.

The voice of the King guy doesnt sound old enough, it's still good though. Also I like the Radiohead song you put in here. Looking forward to the next ep :)
