Failure is inevitable, so why delay? Hit that Give Up button and be done with all this. No need to try to finish the game. I wouldn't be impressed either way. But if you want to humor yourself you can at least try a few floors on for size.

finally beat it with 500+ deaths. Damn this game is tough, very satisfying though.
edit: I went to replay a couple days after beating it now there is an issue. When the first level loads, the player and exit door are both gone, but I still see the eye following my movements when I use the controls, so I guess its a video issue? I'm using the same computer and browser as before.

The game is bugged, the first floor says we have 134 deaths, played for 12:32:00 and keep in mind this is the first time playing and just opened the game.
Not only that there is no assets?? The game shows 2 flying platform blocks, 1 eye next to a radio and nothing else.
We checked the tutorial and there is a lot more than that, such as a controllable player and a door saying "floor 2"
