nice game cute character and very cool background. Getting the controls down at the start was kinda annoying cause a lot of the time you had to have perfect timing when jumping and that led to continuous retries(which made me love the scattered checkpoints) but all in all it was a challenging, balanced, simple game(with beautiful background music/noise)

I really want to love this game. The atmosphere and sound are great and the controls are smooth. The difficulty isn't really much of a problem. The game is quite challenging, but the deaths never feel unfair (unless they involve vertical screen transitions, which get very annoying) and the checkpoints are acceptable (although one requires you to travel through about two screens worth of no obstacles before the next challenge, which is nothing but a waste of time.
The jetpack is also a problem. The jumping is smooth, but the jetpack controls are far too unstable for the level of difficulty.
Another complaint is the lack of guidance. It is nice having a platformer that moves in more than one direction, but having no indication of which direction the player is meant to travel is merely frustrating, and the environments are far too dull and unvaried to justify exploration.
And the ending is so unsatisfying, it seemed to actually drain some of the satisfaction you get from overcoming the challenges.
Overall, the game tends to be extremely frustrating and unsatisfying in the end, but until then, it is a short and enjoyable platformer with atmosphere.
