Set in ancient Japan, Shadow of the Ninja is a side-scrolling puzzle platformer featuring rich graphics and animation.

Players will play the role of Akane, an apprentice ninja, as she uses non-lethal stealth powers like cloaking and teleportation to reclaim her peaceful village from an evil samurai clan.


Move: Left & Right
Jump: Up
Drop Off Platform: Down
Cloak: X
Teleporting: Space + Arrow Key
Restart: R
Pause: P

Loved the concept, but pressing x did not cloak me. I tried every other button on my keyboard--nothing. Maybe that only happened to me, and from what I can tell it's a great game besides, but that annoyed me to no end.

Great detection game. I thought the stealth and transport were both easy to pick up and added alot of depth to the game. The game didn't seem as smooth as it should have. I felt like the main character's motion seemed a bit jittery. My only other knock is the AWSD unlocking system for the prisoners. I like the idea, but I would have preferred another set of letters or something a bit trickier. Otherwise a very solid game and from someone who doesn't love platformers, it was really enjoyable
